ABOUT ME

I'm a fiery adventurous spirit. I love to travel, meet new people, and learn as much as possible. Couchsurfing has helped me connect with awesome people all over the world and share my home with others to return the hospitality. I'm originally from Champaign, IL but have moved around the country and current live in Whitesburg, KY where I teach high school science.

PHILOSOPHY

We are a part of something greater than ourselves.

"Are you up or down? Either way it´s yes, so let´s go!"

The question is not "where is God?" (God=whatever each person experiences as a greater being/framework of existence), the question is "where are you?"

Don´t ask "why me?" but instead "why NOT me?"- why should others have to suffer and not you, it´s a part of life, dont be so selfish :P

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to experience things hands-on and learn about the history/ significance. I enjoy nature, night-life, historic places, and new food.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive stayed with awesome people all across europe and had a great experience. I met so many great people and saved hella money. I've enjoyed hosting people when I got back home. My family and I love meeting new people, plus having people stay in our home is nothing new! Hosting couchsurfers spices up my routine and I love to help out fellow travelers, as so many hosts helped me in my travels. If you happen to pass through Whitesburg, KY I hope that you stop by! :)

I like almost all types of music. Sci-fi, science research, novels, romance.... all great types of movies/ books.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have traveled across the U.S. and visited a great deal of it, along with studied abroad in Santiago, Chile for a semester (very beautiful place, I highly recommend it :)

Studied in Spain for a summer and backpacked across europe for 2 months! amazing time!
