My real name is Ga Hyeon. There's actually a funny story on why the "english" name turned out to be Grace with a "corn"y middle name. Ask me if you're curious!

I write silly songs, make random movies, and dance like I mean it.

I used to work as an AD in the Korean film industry. Now I'm trying to make a shift into non-fiction :) So I spent the last two years on making a documentary in Palestine. I am editing it at the moment in New Zealand.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting has been great. Perhaps I've been lucky with cool people.

I've been hosted many times and good or bad, it taught me a lot. Surprisingly, some of the best "couchsurfing" experience was not through this website and the hosts didn't even have the internet!

When I am hosted, I'm happy to help out with things in the house and really try to get to know my host. If I don't have the energy or time to do so, I find myself an accommodation. But if the host is busy or doesn't want to socialize, I'm fine with being left alone also.

I clean up after myself and keep things tidy. Sharing experience, cooking together, and sharing my songs is something that I like to do if the host is up for it :)

Spending time in nature is something I love. Hiking, trekking, camping, etc. I write songs when I travel, about the places and experience in the land. I love movies and taking photos (if you need a new profile picture, tell me!).
