About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet interesting people, get perspective, be a confident traveler.
ABOUT ME
I'm a student in Massachusetts originally from Vermont. I am a pretty organized, cautious person but I can also be spontaneous, and I really like meeting people and having good conversations. I tend to think positively but realistically; I'm non-confrontational but I defend what's important to me; I work hard but I know when to relax and let loose; I love being with large groups of people but I also need my alone time. Basically I try to live a balanced life. I take my education seriously but I've evolved to the point that I understand it's not all there is to life, and school isn't the only place you get educated. I am into books, tea, my family, breakfast foods (and food in general -- eating is my favorite activity, I just have to learn how to cook like my mom...), running, travel...I think the best way to live life is to appreciate how awesome the world and humans can be and to take some time to be quiet and think.
PHILOSOPHY
Put your all into everything, take advantage of your opportunities, never harm anyone else if you can help it, APPRECIATE FOOD but take care of your body, and most of all look around you and realize how beautiful the world is. Everyone and everything has something to offer you, so never let a chance to learn something pass you by!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
WWOOFed in Italy, saw beautiful art, architecture, and landscapes, became confident in my ability to travel, and got inspired by the amazing people I met!
Teach, Learn, Share
Ask me about Milton's Paradise Lost and its historical context, Nathaniel Hawthorne's relationship to the Transcendentalists, or what makes a good short story. I'll teach you some Spanish if you teach me some French/Italian/Portuguese!
