ABOUT ME

Studying in New York and am fond of this city, but my heart is scattered about in the lights and the wilds around the world. Love exploring new places, different places, old places; I find something to love in whatever locations I end up in, keenest sense of living often felt on the move, though then inevitably I madly miss every place I leave behind. I enjoy warm conversations and listening to stories, connecting with genuine people. I am fascinated by the whole vast range of human experiences and I try to feel every passing moment in life intensely--every second means a lot to me. (I am gripped by a perpetual "nostalgia for the present," which I would like to consider a good thing.) But here I am making myself sound so serious, which I am not at all, really. I love to laugh and be silly! I'm laid-back and in general just having a good time doing whatever I do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a bit around West Africa, and more in Europe. Hosted a few people so far in my tiny room in NYC. Wonderful experiences, lovely people!

(appalachia), chinese folk songs... could teach piano... ballet? yoga? would like to learn to play tin whistle better! practicing languages
