ABOUT ME

For the first time in 8 years I find myself in a strange predicament. "settled" . I just bought my first home in Lovely Saskatoon. I grew up in the inner workings of Toronto, and with in a few months of graduating high school was off to see the world.. ha-ha.. Full of ideals and dreams.. I spent my time, working in bars in Dublin, child care for single moms, volunteering at orphanages, working in the education systems, relief work in shelters. What ever brought me life, security, experience! I moved by camel, car, plain, sail boats, back packing, hitch hiking, I have slept in farmers fields.. and old Irish castles.. I have tasted the wealth of this world in the stories I have drank up and created with others. I look forward to everyday.. and new horizon!

So far I have had a few differnt CS'ers.. been to some Toronto gatherings.. and Couch Surfered in Costa Rica... only good things to say !!!

Algo increíble que he hecho

You ever feel like you are the one in your lineage to fulfill something. We all start things; my family is infamous for enjoying the journey but not giving a rat’s ass about the destination. I never knew my grandfather he died when I was too young to remember. He was a dreamer, many of the things he wanted too do, but didn’t because of the war, raising kids.. What ever the reason. On my own journeys I have gotten to fulfill many of his dreams, unknowingly at the time. The first one was going to Nepal, not really knowing what drew me there, how long I would be, but I certainly I knew I had to go. When I finally returned to Canada, I sat with my grandmother, who analyzes my style well offering me a cold cup of tea.. She shared my grandfather dreams to be in Nepal, he had wanted to do since he was a boy... At that moment I realized how connected we all are. And I was fortunate enough to be the one who got to live out some of these tasty, all consuming experiences, I feel that a lot in my life. It makes me incredibly Thankful to be alive.
