I am a free spirit, but also grounded and reliable. I like to be active and go on adventures, but am also laid-back and recognize the importance of balance in life between excitement and comfort.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a bicycle tour in France in 2014, which was my first experience Couchsurfing. I did mostly camping and not too much Couchsurfing, but I found it to be an amazing experience, the way strangers open their homes to you and quickly you are no longer strangers! I received much kindness and met many great people touring Western Europe in the fall of 2016, after most campgrounds had closed. I am currently embarking on a cross-Canada bicycle tour, and look forward to returning the favour when I am back home and settled!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of music, from oldies to indies and of a wide variety of genres. I am very much a supporter of local music (particularly from the Maritimes). I like to be open-minded when it comes to music, and music is such a central point of my life, and I cannot limit myself to listing a few artists. If you host me, I can sing and play my ukulele!

Always looking for a good book to read! I have mostly been reading critical theory for the last chunk of my life, so I am really in the market for a good novel.
