About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be a published author. I want to study literature in Europe, learn to play the violin and the cello, and learn to speak Spanish, Italian and French.

ABOUT ME

I'm a lawyer by profession, writer-slash-wanderer-slash-bum at heart. I travel as much as my budgetary constraints will permit. My friends and I go on a lot of roadtrips/foodtrips around Luzon. I love meeting new people and discovering new and interesting places to eat and to visit.

PHILOSOPHY

I think people should pursue what they are passionate about, and what makes them happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can help coordinate events here in the Metro Manila area and show people around during my free time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I will update this as soon as something comes up.

Interests

I love watching movies (the whole spectrum, from foreign films to action movies to , music, books and art, although I'm not exactly an expert on any of them. The same goes for my taste in music, food and literature. I cheer wildly for the Spanish National Football Team, and, okay, don't judge me...I follow a bunch of teams that have some really sick rivalry going on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of stuff: Classical music (Bach, Rostropovich, YoYo Ma, Benvenuti), Alternative music (Oasis, Counting Crows, etc.), Pop music (Yes, I like Britney, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, the Glee soundtrack, even Justin Bieber), Mike Posner. Lately, I've also been listening to Orishas and El Canto del Loco. I love war movies, funny zombie movies, chick flicks, and some foreign films. As for books, I just finished reading Kristan Higgins. I also have a little C.S. Lewis collection. I've read the Elie Wiesel trilogy of sorts (Night, Dawn and Day). And just to show you how varied my reading material is, I also enjoyed the 100 Years of Solitude, Harry Potter series, the Sookie Stackhouse novels, A Series of Unfortunate Events, all the Kristan Higgins novels, and Nancy Drew.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

David Villa and the Spanish NT at the World Cup 2010. Villa is a rockstar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm still learning the ropes, so we'll have to go through the process together.
