About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live. Love. Laugh. Learn.
ABOUT ME
I'm a leveler partly agnostic. I enjoy conversations about life, how to make it worth living, and making a difference.I like new ideas and make things happen by collaboration. I like working with people with similar interests and values.
PHILOSOPHY
We live, we love, we laugh, we cry, we learn, we unlearn. Every moment we can change, we flip the switch to either focus on the good things or the bad things. We have a choice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It was after my 2nd or 3rd travel to other countries and it made me realize that it's the people that make the place. I didn't meet locals during those travels nor talked to one. Those travel felt "half-empty". So I thought meeting locals on my next travels would make the trip "complete".
I also wanted to give the same experience to the travellers of my home town. Moalboal is known for its diving spots so I thought I could show people around or meet up with them for a few drinks.
I told a web developer friend about the idea hoping we could build something from it and he said, there's something like that called "COUCHSURFING".
And the next thing I did, you're right, I signed up. My account is not verified though. :P
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Most of the courchsurfing experience I have was more of showing surfers around town. So a typical "show around" would be going to the beach, to Kawasan falls, go karoake, if it's a Saturday, we go dancing to a "discoral" in a local pub called Pacitas. If my friends are free, I also tag them along so we could all share laughters and experiences.
