ABOUT ME

I grew up in the country side in Vermont, spent a little time exploring the smog and glitter of Los Angeles, and hope to explore all over the world in the future.

I am a grad student (or post-grad, depending where you're reading this from) pursuing my Masters in Library and Information Sciences, I'm pretty quiet but I also enjoy a lively conversation on anything from books to Doctor Who.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couchsurfing but I have a few friends who have told me about some of the great experiences they have had through it. The opportunity to meet new people and learn about a place from local perspectives is lost in modern hostels or hotels, so even without experience of Couchsurfing I admire its goals!

Right now I can't manage to host, but would love to show people around or get drinks if someone is in my neck of the woods!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes are eclectic and not very picky, my movies tend towards action/adventure comic book types, though I like just about anything that's not too violent (and definitely don't like horror!).

I could go on and on about books, I like so many things. I like classics like Dickens, Austen, Keats, contemporary and YA like John Green, The Hunger Games, and fantasy and sci-fi, like Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, and Tolkien.
