About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Up for anything ! Hit me up and we'll see :)

ABOUT ME

I'm Lebanese and living in France.
I have a strong connection with nature and animals.
I love to travel - not in a very touristy way though.
Sharing food is essential.
I make my own bread. (at least figuratively)

I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures, with all the small details: how people cook, how people speak, how they understand their language or don't, how they have breakfast, how are their families structured, how they treat old people, how they treat women, how they build their houses, how they like their gardens, how they have fun, what they do when stuck in traffic, what is it like growing in their country, how is the student/teacher relationship in their schools, how they like their coffee in the morning, what kind of music they listen to, what are their thoughts on their traditional music, how they dance when out with friends, how they dance in a family wedding, how they dance alone in their rooms, how is their connection with nature...
Basically anything about other cultures.
I believe that people can not fully live when they don't make deep interactions with others; and that persons, no matter how amazing and perfect they think they are, will eventually perish if they only communicate with people from the same background.
For me, the first step towards humanity is gradually building myself with pieces collected from every side of the planet.

PHILOSOPHY

I studied philosophy so I pretty much have a good idea on how most of the big guys think.
I can say that none of the sophisticated complex philosophies interested me as much as this one phrase said by Nietzsche: "Philosophy, as I have so far understood and lived it, means living voluntarily among ice and high mountains".
I want to be able one day to say that much, the way he does in a few simple words.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When I was camping once in Himlaya, Lebanon, I had the chance to help a 90 year-old man eat his dinner. For reasons I can't explain, this experience touched me beyond words.

- I recently hitchhiked from France to Serbia and till now, I think it is the awesomest travelling experience I've ever had.
