Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In 2010 I returned to the US from a 10 month trip. I spent a week in NYC, a week in Europe (just Brussels, Bruges and Amsterdam), over 5 months in India, a month in Thailand, and then back to Europe for 3 months. I was working as an aupair near Paris for 2 months and couchsurefed around Europe for most of July.
Since then I also traveled to Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Brazil. Since living in New York City I have hosted a few travelers though couchsurfing as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined after talking to a fellow traveler/couch surfer in Bangalore. I had an amazing time couchsurfing around Europe . The generosity of my hosts was was unbelievable. They treated me like a friend who was visiting! It was a wonderful experience to get to know people who live in the places I visited. I love having friends all over the world! Couchsurfing is incredible. I'm happy to be able to spread the love as a host now that I have a home!
