About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, explore, learn, observe, get involved, change, research. And NOT be depressed!

ABOUT ME

I cannot host at the moment but might be able to meet up depending on my schedule!

Little Australian, living in Brighton studying but travelling when I can! Lived in Brighton for over 3 years now. I have travelled a lot over the last few years and am now enjoying being a little more settled, but trying to spend as much time in the woods as possible! Easy going, always smiling, open, genuine.

PHILOSOPHY

I am very interested in living a life that leaves our world in a better state than it was when we came into it. I believe that travelling, meeting people, learning, listening and talking is a good way of spreading the word that we can be the change. By learning about other people, we are broadening our minds, and gaining a greater understanding of people and the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to host couch surfers, but not sure if it is possible as I live in a fairly tiny cramped space. But keen to travel around and meet people or hang out if you're in Brighton!

Interests

Circus/acroyoga, football, volleyball, travelling, photography, sewing, learning, nature/the environment - being in the woods, animals/veganism, spontaneity, writing, music, abandoned buildings!

Music, Movies, and Books

Into The Wild changed my life! As did The Economics of Happiness.
To Kill A Mockingbird, Catcher In The Rye. The Bell Jar. The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. How can I possibly list them all?
Music. Pretty much anything, depending on my mood. Always love a bit of jazz. Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald... The Cat Empire are my all time favourite band. But I also love artists like Molly Drake, Madeleine Peyroux, Norah Jones, Nina Simone, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Sufjan Stevens, The Buena Vista Social Club.... The list goes on & on & on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to England from Australia, definitely on a massive adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love people. I think if we just sit and talk to anyone and everyone, we'll learn something. I'm definitely becoming more open minded as I travel and meet more people. Everyone has a story to tell or something to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Vegan food, conversation, laughter, stories, music, sport..

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
