I'm Gracy from the northeastern part of India (Meghalaya) and currently staying in Goa. I worked in a casino for about 5 years, but recently I quit my job to chase after my dream…the dream of traveling the world… the dream where all my heart and soul depend… the dream to meet the stranger of unknown places, to talk and laugh with them… The dream that could lead me where I want to go to make myself happy and revive from this small circle, which has nothing much to offer except for monotony life like a loop, and endless boredom—life full of depression and anxiety….the dream to see myself getting transformed from my old version to a new version by meeting and staying with the locals and learning about their cultures everywhere I go.

I had been on a solo trip to Thailand in the year 2023, and that was the best feeling I have ever had in my life. I stayed in a hostel and found many people from different countries who had been traveling by themselves with all those positive and pleasing smiles on their faces. Since then, my urge for travelling has pushed me to knock on my heart to make a plan and execute it by taking a step to take action on it, so finally I have decided to make my dream a reality and no more waiting.

I'm planning to start my journey of travelling from June 2025 by using this platform called Couchsurfing, through which I can get an opportunity to stay with the locals and learn and experience their culture in a different way, like a traveler rather than a tourist.

I like to spend most of my free time reading and writing apart from traveling, and once in a year I travel to other part of India. So far I have traveled to Tamil Nadu,Karnataka,Kerala,Kashmir,Mumbai and Kolkata
