I'm pretty chill, open minded, friendly and honest. Love meeting people and having intelligent conversations over coffee or happy hour.

Moved from Portland, OR to San Francisco, CA, to Busan, South Korea. Then I lived in Barcelona, Spain for about ten months. Now I'm back in Portland!

PHILOSOPHY

Life shouldn't be wasted. I'm generally happy wherever I am and whatever I'm doing. I don't believe in higher powers but I do believe in the power of human progress, having a code and doing good. Leave the world a better place than it would've been if I'd never existed.

Hiking up Mt Bachelor and South Sister, in Oregon.
Seeing the aurora borealis in Alberta, Canada during a meteor shower, while the southern horizon glowed orange from wildfires.
Finding an ammonite fossil along the legendary Red Deer River.
Finding the church in Venice from that Indiana Jones movie.
Living in northern England. Experiencing the turn of the millennium in Europe.
Traveling in Paris.

Teaching English in South Korea.

I'm a professional writer / editor and know lots about making a good resume, writing papers or speaking persuasively in English. Also, I do social media stuff for a living, including training, so I can talk to you about practical knowledge in that area.
