COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in Beijing and Kyoto. I originally set a couch surfing profile up with a friend of mine, so it was a joint thing. Now I have decided to host and give back! So have set up my own.

Some of my favourite films are:

Sideways, Burn After Reading, Into The Wild, Summer Wars, Time Traveler: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, To Live (and most stuff by Zhang Yimou), Tokyo Story (Yasujiro Ozu!)! Fish Story, My Neighbours The Yamadas, Dogtown and Z-boys, Riding Giants.

I like a lot of music! But some of my favourite albums are:

Pet Sounds (The Beach Boys), Eskimo Snow (WHY?), Lolitawork Libretto (Kanon Wakeshima), Graceland (Paul Simon), The shape of punk to come (Refused), Relationship of command (At the drive in), Pinkerton (Weezer), Music For The Jilted Generation (Prodigy), Illmatic (Nas), Liquid Swords (GZA)

Favourite piece of music is probably Rhapsody In Blue - Gershwin.

One of my favourite books that I have read is Wild Swans by Jung Chang. Other favourites include - Nothing To Envy: Real Lives In North Korea, Born On A Blue Day, Always Looking Up, In The Key Of Genius.

One of my heroes is Richard Feynman! (he gets a special mention in this section because of his greatness)

TV shows that I think are great include - Dexter, Arrested Development, Frasier (amazing), 24, Underbelly, *Just been introduced to 'Adventure Time' by a friend - really like it!
