Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to see and experience as much as possible, understanding the world around me and the people in it. I spent a lot of years being rather quiet and reserved and have since tried my hardest to get out of my shell. The last few years have opened my heart and mind to the world of possibilities that exist and I wish to get out and explore it.

Intereses

I'm a passionate thinker and learner and want to try a little bit of everything. I NEED to be able to go outside and moving. I've travelled around the states and New Zealand rock climbing and hiking. Right now I'm spending some time exploring and stretching my legs before settling down. Hoping to eventually start my own design business.
I enjoy a good deep discussion and would call myself a proud amateur philosopher.
I am a designer (creative problem solver) by training. Working through sketching, modeling, prototyping, and CAD work, but prefer the hands on process of wood and metal working. Mostly with furniture and lighting. I hate spending hours staring at a computer screen and love nothing more than getting out and getting dirty in a shop.

Música, películas y libros

I'm a really big reader and love getting lost in a book for a couple days. My biggest obsession right now is a book called the Four Hour Work Week: a book about entrepreneurship and lifestyle design. It is actually the reason I set off on my adventure to NZ
I swear I've read nearly every Stephen King book written. His Dark Tower Series is one of the greatest series I've ever read.
Stranger In A Strange Land is one of the books that really changed the way I look at myself, the world, and who/what we are as people.
