Biologist by training, I've lived in Ireland, UK, San Francisco, and Vancouver. I've started a few companies, failed a few companies, and once been chased down by an angry hippo.

To meet and help out fascinating people who want to stay with me in Cambridge, and to meet these also as I travel abroad. I want to know what it's truly like to be a local in the places I visit... and neither hostels nor hotels nor a sterile AirBnB can really compare!
