About Me

I'm very friendly, easy-going and most of all sarcastic. I feel as though I would be a great guest as I'm responsible a would take care of your home.

I've lived in my own condo that I worked hard for and know what it's like when people make a mess of your home. At home, the time I had off from work, I would go on hikes in northern British Columbia with my dog and be completely alone. This is an amazing thing but also extreme frustrating and terrifying.

Everything I have in my life I've worked extremely hard for and hate when people beg for things!

I'm just finishing a seven month trip across South America and now I'm heading to Europe to prolong my travels. I'm planning on cycling throughout Europe. So far I'm planning on going through the Netherlands, Belgium and then down south through France. After that I will head east and down Italy ferry to Greece and then make my way up yo Finland. It would be awesome to hear from people on what I should stop at in some of these countries and maybe some countries that you would recommend me going too.

I hate planning things and wish someone could do it for me. I believe that's the most difficult part of travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to be using couch surfing more this trip as I feel I've now done the hostel to hostel backpacking. I would like to get to know locals and see the hidden gems of the town. I also have my tent with me so I'd be willing to sleep in the back yard if there's not a tone of space in your home.

Interests

Ice hockey of course, that's a must as a Canadian. I defiantly miss playing. I also enjoy hiking, cycling, being on the water(canoe or kayak), mostly being in the nature. I started to get into photograph a bit before my trip started. I'd love to show you some of my photos,

I've scuba dived a bit and would like to get into that more. Maybe continue one day and get a more advanced licence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stopping everything I was doing at home and going traveling. Now I defiantly have the travel bug.

One hike that I did in Huaraz, Peru has to be one of the most amazing hikes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about bicycles - basically how to fix them.
I could now maybe teach you a little about them as well
I could teach you some Canadian slang.

Also I'm starting to get into white water kayaking and would like to be a guide one day. I still have EVERYTHING to learn about it though.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could share my infamous couscous, garlic, and onions.
I'll share all my stories with you even if they bore you to death.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Peru, United States, Uruguay
