About Me

Friendly and sociable. Grew up with 3 brothers in the countryside in south west England and always had to learn to share and give and take. Holidays of camping and traveling, sleeping on tents, floors, in cars and caravans so definitely not a drama queen, very chilled out, easy going and down to earth. Recently vegetarian since January, decided to put in to action some of my convictions, definitely don't impose that on others as I'm still new and not doing everything as well as I could! I grew up through school playing rugby and was pretty sporty, enjoy running and swimming and racket sports too. Love getting outdoors and tend to be happier in the countryside but love being in vibrant cities too and see all the culture and art around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Massive mixture of things depending my mood and situation, like most people I guess.
Love listening to indie, acoustic, folk, reggae, latino type music but equally if the sun is shining and I've got a beer then some summer chill out or electronic dance music to get in the party mood.
Action and Spy books like Desmond Bagluey, Alistair Maclean and Harold McInnes but also fantasy love Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter type books too ha.
Comic and superhero films, but also historical/war time films, fairy tale and fantasy films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in another country for just under a year, just took my back pack and a one way flight and made it work despite having my stuff stolen and knowing 3 words of the local language!

Teach, Learn, Share

Grew up in the countryside in England, lived and studied in London for 3 years, lived in Valencia in Spain for 10 months and Manchester for the last 5 years but taking a year out to travel. Have loads of experiences to share and chat about. I taught English as a foreign language in Spain so I have some knowledge of that. I would love to learn more Spanish as my Spanish skills have become really terrible!
Enjoy all sorts of music and would be great to share some of things that i listen to and hear about what you like as well.
Enjoy fantasy, comic films, thrillers, actions and art house and spanish film. I find it difficult to name individual music, book and films cos I like soooo many!
