ABOUT ME

I'm living and working as an environmental consultant with the Yap State Department of Marine Resources. I will be here at least until July 2015 (despite CS listing my location as being in Pohnpei, I am actually in Yap). My house is kind of a tree house and is incredibly small, and is in the middle of nowhere, but I may have floor space.

I've mainly hosted. I've only couchsurfed a couple times. It's pretty awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by Hemmingway, Graham Greene, Ayn Rand, Steinbeck, Dave Eggars, Mark Twaine, and Edward Abbey. Other favorites are Cadillac Desert, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Lolita, books about mountaineering and sailing and disasters.
Music: Mainly slow songs; but usually whatever.

I know a few different languages. I know about the the resources of the world. I know a lot about trees. And a lot about the commercial fishing and the sea. I know a lot about kayaking. I know a lot about designing labels. But nothing else!
