About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn about different cultures.
ABOUT ME
I was an outdoor pursuits Instructor, Teaching climbing; caving etc. Then got a Degree. Lectured for a while, became a Training Manager, and had a stroke in my sleep 10 years ago.
PHILOSOPHY
you can learn from anyone. If you don't find them interesting then you are asking the wrong questions. If something is important then you will prioritise it, I. E. Actions speak loader than words.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
by hosting mainly, though I took 2 Couchsurfers camping to the Lake District and North Wales for Xmas 2013.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted about 10 people and it was interesting to find out about them and their way of life and beliefs as well as show them some of the area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was told by someone 10 years ago that I've lived the life or experienced what 3 people will do in their lifetime already. I have many experiences and there are so many amazing things I have seen/done. If I were to pick one then it would be hitchhiking 13,000 miles around Australia because it incorporated so many mini adventures!
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone has a story to tell. Couchsurfing is NOT free accommodation, it is an exchange of experiences in return for accommodation. you scratch my back; and i'll scratch yours.
