ABOUT ME

Grainne is Irish and Jason is American. We met each other when we were both teaching in the same town here in Korea. We both love to hike, scuba dive, snorkel, read and of course travel. Grainne is the planner, she loves to research new countries and find out more about them and then plan the adventures. Jason likes to go with the flow but is up for anything.
We also love animals. We are fostering a dog here in Korea that we are just madly in love with. We also volunteer at the shelter that we got Willy (our dog) from every Sunday.
We have become much more chill lately, preferring to stay in with some wine rather than partying every weekend.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that you are the maker of your own happiness. I see so many people that aren't happy in their lives but make no effort to change it. I like to hope that if I become bored or unhappy in my life I will take the neccessary steps to change that. (Grainne)

I believe in Karma...treating others the way you wish to be treated and that everybody is interconnected in some way. (Jason)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we would love to host people in our apartment and show them our nice little city here in Korea. we also want to surf with people and get to know true locals in an area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we have never couch surfed before but look forward to trying it out and meeting new people and of course for people to come to our apartment.

Interests

Jason loves baseball, football (American) and basketball. We both like hiking, swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, camping, reading, planning our travels, animals, playing board games, walking dogs at the local shelter, cooking and watching movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, action and thriller movies.
I love to read many different types of books, my favourite book would be A Thousand Splendid Suns even though it is a terrible story and set in a war time it still makes me so eager to visit the Middle East.(Grainne)
My favorite book is the alchemist because it encourages you to believe in your dreams and pursue them. (Jason)
