About Me
Just finished highschool so I`m travelling at the moment! I`ll move to Konstanz in september and from then be happy to host! :)
Open to people, cultures - just anything that awakes my curiosity
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I`m still new at couchsurfing I haven`t visited many people yet - only some in Germany, Austria, Mallorca and England.
But I`m not new to traveling at all as I `ve grown up around several places in Germany which left me visiting friends and family all the time! I`ve been traveling on my own from the age of 12.
I really love "slow traveling" including hitchhiking, flexible dates and routes, writing postcards, forgetting about facebook, sometimes looking out of a train window for hours, just watching the landscape changing, meeting new people, share some drinks, sitting around a camp fire,...
I just hate the mentality to always need spending a hell lot of money for everything all the time to represent something. Don`t get me wrong - things have their price and I`m more than willing to pay that.
But exploring the world should be about seeking, learning, sharing in first place more than presenting your new suitcase or an expensive hotel bill. There`re more sencefull things to invest in.
Interests
Seeing as much of the world as possible!
Interested in foreign cultures and religions in general (although I`m not really religious) - planning to maybe study religious studies (what a sentence)
During last year Asylum politics became a really controversely discussed topic in Germany and Saxony especially ( see Pegida -.-) Therefore I spend a lot of time with refugees in our town and in our action group (http://netzwerk-asyl-wilsdruff.de/) to send a positive signal.
As I'm a girl I'm also interested in cooking and sewing as well as needlework (yeah I can knit socks!).
And I really enjoy music - I for myself play the clarinet and sing in a choir
