Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding out who I am, dissolving the ego. Search for purpose. Getting a job (yikes)
ABOUT ME
My childhood was pretty itinerant, I was born in Switzerland then moved to Malaysia for almost 8yrs, then back to Ticino Switzerland and finally to Lyon France where I still live. I have a multi cultural background and I am a native English as well as French speaker: at first you will not believe I'm French, I sound American :p I like exploring and discovering new cultures, people, philosophies and states of consciousness. I enjoy travelling on my own and with friends, as alternatively as possible (hitchhiking, CS, camping, skwatting...) and being close to nature.
You could say I'm a daydreamer, thoughtful, ambiguous, sarcastic, ironic, crazy, romantic
PHILOSOPHY
Think for yourself and question authority. Timothy Leary.
Mankind's true moral test, its fundamental test (which lies deeply buried from view), consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals. And in this respect mankind has suffered a fundamental debacle, a debacle so fundamental that all others stem from it.
Milan Kundera
Let the music be your master. Robert Plant.
A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. And to act so is immoral. LEO TOLSTOY.
After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music. Aldous Huxley.
Love cannot save you from your own fate. Jim Morrison.
The power of the Riff compels me! Phil Anselmo
Yeah the man shakes me down and that's why I'm broke
The rich man's got all the green but it' aint the kind you smoke
So we turn up the rock and roll it slow
We're always flying high and the ride is always low. Brant Bjork
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By being a enthusiastic surfer and hosting whenever possible. Cooking delicious meals for my hosts and surfers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had an amazing experience so far and met awesome people. Sometimes when you are hosted or host you don't have much time to spend with your host/surfer but it's fine to me, it's always cool to have a place to crash when your on the road. I like the trust you can have in couch surfers, haven't been deceived yet :)
However some places or towns are just terrible for CSing, you would post 15 personalised reaqests and get no answers... I also hate the amount of people who have a profile like this was facebook and never participate. Stop polluting please.
