ABOUT ME

Ok that's the part I don't like...
Hum, I think I'm a nice guy. I like partying, laughing, and learning things.
I am open minded (sounds awfully pretentious I know) and I love talking with people about life in general. I think I'd do pretty much anything for my friends and family. Anyway I just want to try and enjoy life.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem, don't give up on your dreams, but don't let them hold you back either.
Do not judge people too quickly (I've made that mistake before, and swore to correct that)
Proust said "Il y a peu de réussite facile et d'échec définitif"
It translates like "neither easy success nor everlasting failure"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never had the opportunity to travel using the website, so for the time I'm pretty much more of a host than a "real couchsurfer".
Hosted a bunch of people, can't remember how many. Sometimes it got weird, but I never had to leave a bad reference, which is.... well pretty cool!

兴趣

Music, books, arts, history, what's going on in the world and people...yeah that's weird to say, but it's true, I love meeting people and talking about life. I'm not sure I'm clear here, but come and meet me, and you'll get it!
The thing I really live for is cinema.

Movies...loads of them. The ones I can think of first would be The fountain, La meglio gioventu, Lost highway, The Godfather, Brazil...they are in my top five.
Music...Grunge(Pearl Jam), blues(Tony Joe White), jazz(from Louis Armstrong to Miles Davis).
Books...Ellroy, Vian, Pennac, Kerouac, Orwell, Bradbury.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Witnessed an avalanche when standing at the foot of a glacier in Norway.
Jumped from a 4000m high plane which was working just fine, for the thrill of it.
BUT I've never managed to get my mom to understand that "No Ma, I'm not hungry". (does that ring any bell?)

I've never tried to teach anything to anyone, because I have too much respect for people... meaning I'd be a terrible teacher!

I guess I'de be eager to learn anything you"d have to teach me! (Believe me I could have been even more vague!)

As for sharing, yes that's the whole point of this website! Come and share! We'll share opinions, points of view, ideas, beers, pizzas...
