About Me

Hi! I'm a Spanish girl whose last home was Lisbon, having lived and worked there for two years and a half. I have lived in other countries like UK and Belgium and also other cities in Spain such as Barcelona and Oviedo. I like travelling, I like meeting a new culture and be immersed in it. I thought about going volunteering , somewhere I could be challenged and I just came back from Germany where I have volunteered in a retreat center learning German and enjoying the countryside. My very next goal is to go to India and spend a year or more learning yoga intesely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm starting a new adventure and I'm trying this channel because it has the vibe for it , meet new people, new places, be amazed again and again!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite types of music are jazz, soul, blues, classical music, world music and some electronic too. My favourite female singer is Ella Fitzgerald and my favourite male singers are Caetano Veloso and Stevie Wonder.

My favourite movies are any of the Marx brothers' , or Kubrick's, Cabaret, Kiriku, Hedwig and the angry inch in the international section, and in the Spanish I always loved Amanece que no es poco, El discreto encanto de la burguesía y Gordos, for example but there are many more of course.

My favourite books are "Letters to a young poet" by Rilke, "Oriental tales" by M. Yourcenar, "Henry and June" by Anais Nin and "The character of rain" by Amelie Nothomb, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I'm very proud of is that once I stopped a robbery just with my words and most of all, I think, with my attitude. I saw a man stealing a woman's bag and inmediately I run after him and shouted a few words that can be summerize as "I know and you know that you can do better!" and he listened and gave it back!!! I'm so happy every time I remember it. :)))

Another amazing thing I've done is starting yoga, may seem like it's no big deal but I think is the best thing I've done in years!
