Whilst I grew up in Perth I left 14 years ago to live in Sydney for a few years before spending the last ten years in the United States (Washington DC and NY).

At the beginning of June2016 I quit my job to take an extended holiday on my way back to Australia. I met a lovely lady in the U.K. and the rest is history.

I'm all about new cultures, new food and new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had an amazing time staying in hostels, using Air BnB and the occasional hotel. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet even more new people.

My girlfriend and I always want to have the local experience and this seems a great way to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where to start, Pink Floyd will always be my favorite band but my tastes are eclectic ranging from classical to punk. I was lucky enough to see Red Hot Chili Peppers in Amsterdam in November 2016.

Some of my favorite movies are American Beauty, Usual Suspects, The Man who Wasn't There and Baraka.

As to books I really enjoy fantasy, lots of the usual suspects like Jordan, Sanderson and Tolkien.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By December 22nd I would have visited 45 cities in 26 countries across 4 continents in seven months. When I arrive in South Korea I'll have visited my 50th country.
