Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Gillian and I are travelling around the world this year between August 2016 and July 2017.

Neither of us knew much about Couchsurfing until someone recommended it and we might try it out while we're away. We would like to give to the community before taking so we're offering our spare room in Edinburgh.

Interests

I like fishing, cycling and being quite active. Gillian also likes keeping active and does yoga and swimming.

We both like a little bit of partying as well as chilling out and watching a good series/film. And hillwalking and going our for dinner.

I like pop, house and (if going out) techno. Gillian is similar but doesn't appreciate pop!!

We both typically read for work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Booked our round the world tickets and taking a year off from work and normal life. And signed up on here to start paying it forward :)

And went to Burning Man last year.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share our knowledge of Edinburgh and Scotland and, time permitting, take you out in the city.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Gillian will definitely make you laugh - she's the best story teller ever! We both like cooking so a nice meal possibly and both like a cocktail so a drink too :)

And I know it's not the point of the CS community but I'm very handy and could fix that wonky shelf :)
