I am an adventurer at heart. I have traveled all over the world doing lots of humanitarian aid work especially in third world countries but have also done my fair share of backpacking through Europe and SE Asia as well. I have also done a few cross country road trips here in the States.

I am fairly new to Couchsurfing. Used is once with a friend about a year ago but think that it is such a great community. To be able to get to know people from all over the world and see people in their element is what its all about.

So thankful for people who are willing to open up their homes and their lives to me as I travel. I hope to be able to do the same thing someday when I have a place that could accommodate people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only been couchsurfing once so far. It was in Vancouver B.C but had an excellent time and the family that hosted us were very kind. They even made breakfast for us when we arrived!!

I think it is a great way to meet new people and see new places. Being able to share places with one another is a pretty cool thing.

Interests

I love the outdoors and seeing that beauty that is all around. It is always great to meet people from different places around the world. However I also like to explore cities and get a feel for the culture of an area as well!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest things I have ever done was get to hike through the Swiss Alps sleeping on the trail and watching the sun set behind the alps all while sitting by a campfire watching the lights of the city below me come alive!!
