I am a student at Purdue University Studying Mechanical Engineering. I music and can play, saxophone, guitar, piano, and percussion instruments. I am a member of the marching band at Purdue as well as being a campus tour guide and being a part of the study abroad group.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling to Spain to study at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and during that time I hope to travel to as many countries as possible. I love meeting new people and learning about their culture

Interests

I am studying to be a Mechanical Engineer so many things interest me. One day I hope to work for a car company such as Mercedes Benz, Audi, Saab, or any other quality manufacturers. I am on a race team at Purdue and our team will be competing this year in an off road race in Oregon, U.S.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music, my favorite being more indie and rock. My favorite artist is Jon Bellion, a small time artist who just recently became pretty popular in the U.S.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite memories from traveling is snorkeling and cliff diving in Bermuda with the locals. I did this during a cruise with my family, but I have found that the best memories come when you let yourself get lost in a country rather than planning your every move and moving from one tourist location to the next.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to enjoy my time abroad as much as possible and to do this I want to meet locals who can help me discover the best that each city and country has to offer. I can offer those who host me a good time as I am easy going and I get along with everyone. Some nights I would be content sitting around enjoying a peaceful meal while other nights I am ready for an adventure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am skilled in musical instruments and I would enjoy teaching what I know. I am also fluent in English and I am learning Spanish so teaching English or practicing english with my host is an option.
