My name is Grant Snyder. I'm a recent college graduate from the city of Chicago looking to make a more permanent move out to the Seattle area.

I am currently an instructor at a tech camp at the UW-Seattle campus where I teach game design to middle/high school youth.

I absolutely love exploring new places, meeting new people, and trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm a recent college graduate (a.k.a - I'm poor) - but more importantly, because I love meeting new people, hearing their stories (both happy and sad), and I want to experience new places through the eyes of the people who actually live there.

I'm also tired of just doing what's easy (like getting a hotel.) I'm looking for some adventures, and I think this is a good place to start. :)
