About Me

Hey my name is Grant. I graduated from college in 2015 and took a 11,000 mile/26 state solo road trip around the US. I spent 31 days and slept in my car the entire way. I hiked the grand canyon, mountain biked in Moab, and hiked in Glacier National Park. I fell in love with traveling and the freedom it brings. I am a avid hiker; I hike almost every weekend and hope to do the Appalachian Trail in 2020. I love mountain biking too.

Finished the Annapurna Trek in October 2017 and it was amazing. First international trek for me. I was able to experience the Nepali culture and meet a some cool travelers.

I'm currently building out a van to live in. Check out my website (under construction) www.thevancave.life. I work full-time, but run a small business to support my van construction. Van is planned to be completed in 2019.

I love the couch surfing community and use it every time I travel to a new place.
