About Me

I am passionate about exploring unfamiliar territory of all kinds and have a strong desire for everything that comes with travel:

Getting out of my comfort zone and chasing new experiences; accepting the good with the bad and realizing the contrast to this beautiful life.

Exploring the human connection. Meeting other people that may have an entirely different perspective on the world from mine, finding similarities and differences, learning about what makes them feel alive, sharing stories and making new ones.

Learning about the history of new regions, cultures, and people. I believe that living in an age where travel is so accessible comes with the responsibility of examining the unknown and, at times, challenging what I think I know to be true.

Couchsurfing seems to be an excellent avenue for a more immersive way to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, whether I'm going to a new place or somewhere I've been before, I think it's much more valuable to learn from the locals and find a new perspective. Saving money is a big advantage and makes traveling sustainable, but in the end, it's the experiences that will matter most.

Music, Movies, and Books

I dabble in all sorts of music (a few favorites include deep house, metal, alternative rock, indie and psychedelia, classical and bluegrass) I also love finding new genres I've never heard before. I really enjoy film, movies, and cinematography and the many different ways this type of media can capture a story. I read all kinds of books although sometimes I don’t finish them 😆

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned how to surf with a broken ankle in Costa Rica.

Teach, Learn, Share

Jack of all trades, master of none. I have a wide range of interests that just keeps growing. I bet there’s something I could teach or share with you, and I know for sure there's plenty I could absorb in return.

I truly enjoy making and enjoying a meal together as a form of bonding. There is something so innately human about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To me, one of the greatest benefits of travel is the time spent with others along the way. Meeting people and sharing experiences together. You never know what you may have in common with someone, or what you could learn if you never communicate with them.

I can share my time, perspective, stories, and companionship. I hope to share new experiences as well.
