I have stayed with five hosts on couchsurfing. The second stay has been an extended stay. I grew up in the country close to a couple of small towns. I have never married, I am close to both of my brother's and my mom, my dad passed away in 2008. I have lived in Eugene, Oregon for college and a couple years after, Portland- a couple of times, The North Shore of Chicago for part of Grad School. I studied to become a Pastor though I have never worked as a pastor. I worked in schools for a number of year's as a coach first and then as an assistant and a teacher at various times.

Two years ago, I started a gardening business, and am learning and studying to gain expertise, while also enjoying life. This year is the year of Jubilee, so I am not charging any money for my own work in my business and I took a trip around the Midwest to visit friends, study chess and explore. Movies: Les Miserables, Shawshank Redemption, Gladiator, Serendipity, Hitch, Star Wars, Avengers, My Fair Lady, The Martian, Hunger Games: I like most movies with the exception of horror or mindless sequels. I like sequels, but I appreciate new stories.
I enjoy most music, but when I choose, I usually choose to listen to country or Christian.
