Overview
About Me
We are a family of 4 living in Sukhothai, Thailand. Grant is an English teacher at a local Thai elementary school. We are friendly and slightly crazy people who love making new friends and exploring this beautiful world. We plan on living in Thailand for quite a while and want to raise our daughters to be global-minded people who love and appreciate all cultures and people. It is better to give than to receive, and we believe that to live your life in loving service to others is the greatest service you could ever do yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We believe that people are what makes a place great, and this is an awesome way to get to know a lot of people in every place in the world. We've couchsurfed in Malaysia pre-baby and Scotland, N. Ireland and the USA with our toddler. Some may think we are a bit crazy, but people really do make a place and what better way to show our daughters the world then by introducing them to the people who make this world beautiful. As hosts we've welcomed people from many different countries into our home. We've loved being able to meet new friends from all over and learn about their cultures, traditions and life.
