About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Through this project, I want to learn anything and everything that I can that cannot be taught in a traditional classroom. Basically, I want to get life experience and meet the kinds of people to have the experiences that I would not have otherwise had.
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Grant and I'm a 24 year old that studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder (Environmental Engineering, Geology, and Engineering Management). I'm traveling and searching for my next full time job in the energy industry-renewable energy design, power plant modeling, or electic vehicle production.
As the great Jon Bovi sings, "It's now or never, I ain't gunna live forever, I just wanna live while I'm alive...It's my life!" So, if an opportunity comes up or a trip idea, I'm always up for adventure and the fun that comes with it. After all if we're not learning, moving forward, and loving life....what are we doing here?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am open to hosting, but am new to the site and look forward to both going abroad to meet new people as well as hopefully hosting some travelers here!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not had any experiences yet, but I'm looking forward to some awesome ones to come, both as a host as well as for people hosting me :)
Interests
I'm an avid runner and triathlete competing for the thrill of pushing my body to the absolute limit and for getting the gold for CU! I'm also an avid hiker that is working to climb all the 14,000 ft. peaks in Colorado. I'm an Eagle Scout and an Environmental Engineering major that is originally from Chicago. I have also played the Euphonium for 7 years. I enjoy traveling and having adventure most of all though! You name the adventure and I'm probably down for it :) I've camped in a snow shelter in -20 degrees C, and I'll bike across the state of Colorado if you want to (assuming I have no school) or just go out and have some drinks, as long as it's part of living free, I'm all in for it!!

Teach, Learn, Share
I want to teach others about my experiences, my time with distance running and triathlon, my Eagle Scout path, Chicagoland etc., basically whatever they want to hear about! And I want to learn whatever stories and knwoledge they can pass onto me!
