I'm a 24 year old Englishman currently living in Germany. I've recently completed a degree in physics and indend to continue this course of study up to doctoral level in the future. I am currently working on my Master's.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't done a great deal yet to be honest. I learned of this project at the Nottingham Language Exchange to which I was introduced by a friend. I have also surfed with a couple of people while looking for a flat in Heidelberg

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Experience thus far is rather limited but still very positive. It's been a great resource for finding language learning partners and meeting new people and I look forward to it facilitating future travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: Charles Dickens, George Orwell, Bertrand Russel, Heinrich Böll, Thomas Mann, Hermann Hesse. (Working my way through lots of Thomas mann lately)

Music: mostly the work of the classical composers but some other as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a few interesting and surprising things but they never seem to compare to those I hear from other people. I've seen the Northern Lights, that tends to go down rather well when I tell people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think it is always interesting to share information about ones homeland with people from abroad and to hear about theirs.

Also to hear about the experiences of other people which one has not experienced oneself.

I also always appreciate a chance to speak a little German with a native speaker to improve my competance with the spoken language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I mostly have to be out of the house during the week so can only really offer accomodation for the night but won't really be able to do anything like Show you around except perhaps on the Weekend.
