Overview
About Me
I grew up in Hawaii and now live in downtown Portland and work at Intel on the latest and greatest processors. In my free time I enjoy learning Japanese, playing soccer, practicing violin, and playing computer games. I'm focusing on Japanese right now but also have an interest in Turkish and Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide variety of music such as Tori Amos, Ice Cube, Thrice, Dresden Dolls, Madonna, Nas, Enya, and Watsky. I've read a lot of popular series books like The Fellowship of the Ring, Dune, Ender's Game, the Vampire Chronicles, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and even Twilight, but I also like period fiction such as Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters' books. I read a lot of David Sedaris's books most recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a week in Manu National Park on one of my three trips to Peru and saw a wild jaguar there (as well as a ton of other wildlife).
