ABOUT ME

We are both fun loving, open minded people who love the outdoors and the beauty of nature. We tend to lead a peaceful life, but with one 3 year old son and a newborn son, we've had to redefine peaceful. :) We love exploring different cultures and are open to trying any food from any culture. We haven't traveled much together, but individually we have been to other countries and most of the United States. I love fishing and hiking and my wife Katrina loves music and art.

PHILOSOPHY

We must all venture outside of ourselves and our surroundings to learn from others and be an active and peaceful part of the world community.

We would love to host travelers and we look forward to traveling to other countries and meeting other fun, gracious hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have yet to have experiences through CS officially. When I was in Switzerland, I once slept an evening in a barn in the middle of the countryside with many of the farm animals. I've also shared a couch bed in a small town in Switzerland.

Katrina- She says that she can't wait to form some memorable moments in travels to come. Grant- Backpacking across Europe was a blast! So many people and places with very little knowledge of the languages; a fun combination!

Katrina loves to draw and paint and I enjoy metal art and jewelry. I'm not exactly sure if I have any special skill that anyone would want to learn, but we're always open to exchanging knowledge!
