ABOUT ME

Hey all! My name is Grant. I am 27 years old. I was born in Portland, Oregon and now call San Francisco, California my home. I love to eat, explore, hike, swim, sing, dance, drink good beer and generally be open to whatever life has for me. I have been traveling Asia since January and am currently living and working at a hostel in Seoul, Korea. I am very much enjoying meeting people from all over the world every day and learning about their lives.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in treating others the way I would desire to be treated. I try to take life as it comes with a completely open mind and optimism as a driving force.

I am hoping to meet many couch surfers on my upcoming trip to SE Asia and wherever the future holds for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been on Couchsurfing since 2007, but have been completely inactive the entire time for no good reason at all. Living in San Francisco and throughout my travels I have met many great people who are participating in the Couchsurfing community. This is a big part of why I have now decided to get involved and I am excited to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once was camping in Northern California when my campsite was invaded by three wild bears. They were clawing at my tent and wooden trailer, growling, roaring and destroying everything. All while we watched from our tent just a few meters away.
