I'm a very laid-backed and relaxed guy. I don't get upset easy and enjoy finding the humor in everything.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess my personal philosophy is to simply try not to take life too seriously. We're alive for too short of a time to get mad at someone for too long. Forgive and let live. Joke about everything and don't get offended. Find the humor in everything. Also, try not to be an asshole.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this and just recently found out about couchsurfing thanks to some traveling companions. So far I've only surfed, but I think hosting would be great as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best ones I've had in my limited time couchsurfing are the ones where you stay with a host who's hosting other people from around the world as well. It's great to just hang out with people from everywhere.

Interests

I like reading, hanging with friends, and having a good time. I like listening to interesting people and having good, strange discussions. I enjoy asking and imagining hypothetical situations. I also like cats.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies: The Big Lebowski, Heathers, Empire of the Sun, and Withnail and I.
Favorite Music: Classic rock, post-punk, some electronic music. Favorite all time bands/artists: Pink Floyd, Patti Smith.
Books: mostly sci-fi and fantasy novels. Some of my favorite books would have to be Infinite Jest, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Shantaram, Ciy of Night, Song of Ice and Fire series, and Watership Down. Also Calvin and Hobbes

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a cow give birth, so that was pretty cool. Also, tripping while driving through Kansas on a road trip was really fantastic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk about a lot of odd, seemingly useless things in great depth, like the plots of various fantasy series. Also, I've been told a make a pretty good vanilla milkshake. I just wish I could cook better.
