COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted and surfed few times. Each time it was a real pleasure to see how open, friendly and interesting are random people around the globe. I am looking forward to repeating those experiences.

Movies:
Any good ones, especially watched with nice company.
Though I have my two best of all time - Almost Famous and 500 Days Of Summer.
I am also addicted to watching TV shows (Firefly and True Detective Season 1 being my favorites among many others).

Music:
Mostly rock, also reggae, metal and other. Similar as with movies, I'd like listening to any piece of music as long as it is an outstanding one in its gender.
I also like going out to sing shanties.

Books:
"For whom the bell tolls" by Hemingway.
Terry Pratchet, Neil Gainman, George R.R. Martin, other good fantasy.
James S.A. Corey and other sci-fi.
Sometimes some crime fiction (Forsyth, Larsson, etc).
And many others...

Spontaneous moving out - I moved from Gdansk to Krakow (600km distance) after a semi-joke proposition from my friends in Krakow to move in with them. True story it was a quick and unplanned decision. I packed my things, called UPS to post them, caught a train and I was suddenly living in a different city (I stayed there for 6 months).
UPDATE: Then a couple years later I did the same thing... though I moved from Poland to Thailand for 5 months without ever being to Asia before :)

I am a big enemy of cigarettes, but I adore hookah (also called shisha or water pipe). Once I almost opened a hookah shop in my home city :)

I can prepare a perfect hookah, one that will taste intensely and will not tear the throat. I can also teach you how to do so.
