ABOUT ME

I move at my own pace and strive to maintain somewhat of a balance and responsibility in everyday life, while still managing to follow the smell of cookies to feed my soul. My passions in life center around family, food, communications, and adventure. As I look back at the last 10 years of my life traveling and live music have generally steered the way and have led me to a career in massage therapy. It's a long story, but I promise it's all connected and I'd love to share it with you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have heard about couch surfing and needed a place to crash in Portland for a weekend so I created a profile and now I'm on the bus!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive had a few friends who hosted couch surfers and everything has turned out positive.

Music - I'm into ANY good music and love to experience new sounds, but am generally listening to Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Rock n Roll, Bluegrass, or Singer Songwriter stuff. I also LOVE my jambands such as Grateful Dead, Phish, Yonder Mountain String Band, Widespread Panic, Railroad Earth, Cornmeal, MOE., etc... I have been known to frequent music festivals and work a massage booth on more than one occasion. It's all about meeting good solid people and living the life you love while loving the life you live.

I love watching Alfred Hitchcock. I love reading books that offer new perspectives on living life such as The Man Who Discovered the Secrets of the Universe, Leonardo Davinci, & Motorcycle Diaries.
