ABOUT ME

I grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and have lived in several places in the Western U.S. I recently finished graduate school in Austin, Texas and am now working as a journalist covering energy and environmental issues for the most part. I'll be in Australia in July and August writing about such issues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed sporadically throughout the years. I did it in India and Southeast Asia about five years ago and then last year while traveling within the U.S.

Interests

I like to learn new things. I try to spend my time being creative or productive or just having fun. This can happen in many different ways.

More specifically: I like cooking, hiking, reading, conversing, dancing, soccer, and traveling of course.

Hard to make a list, but happy to talk about these things anytime. I regularly partake in all three.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Taj Mahal was amazing. Same with the Grand Canyon. And sometimes just looking up at the stars can be enough.
