Hi! I'm Andrew and I'm an astrophysicist working at the University of Keele where I research black holes and active galaxies. I'm a friendly, sociable person with a wide variety of interests and hobbies. I have realised that life is very short and for that reason I'm always eager to meet new people and share new experiences. So please feel free to get in touch!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy regularly hosting people in my own apartment. I also like to "surf" other people's couches and make good use of the community to meet new people and make new friends when I'm travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted by people several times on my travels and I've also met new people who have shown me around. In addition, I've hosted a few people myself. Every single experience has so far been positive and I've been lucky enough to make many new friends through this project.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat at the water's edge of Lake Bodom, southern Finland, at 2am in the height of summer and watched the sun set and then rise again in the space of an hour. Beautiful.
