About Me
My current challenge is to reconcile the obligations of being a teacher with a hedonistic lifestyle. But even though I still struggle with this challenge every now and then, I'm also proud to say that it works increasingly well!
I'm interested in a wide range of things including left-wing politics, progressive education, romantic poetry, low-budget traveling, Soto-Zen meditation and Nintendo games. That's why I never have enough time :-)
When I'm not preparing or teaching lessons at school, I'm likely to be found canoeing, reading, meeting friends, playing games on the Switch or relaxing on one of the beaches of Lake Cospuden in Leipzig.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My two journeys to Iran in 2012 and 2014 both were unforgettable experiences for which I'll always be grateful. I'll hopefully go there again someday and I'm happy to share my thoughts on Iran with everyone who is interested.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone who surfs my couch will be introduced to the fabulous game Backgammon if s/he wants ;-)
