Hey!
I am a Canadian university student doing an internship in Germany. I am majoring in Computer Science / Software Engineering and am working in the field of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.

I am into fitness (weightlifting and biking) and enjoy experiencing new cultures and trying new things.

Power sports have always been a big part of my life. Growing up in Canada, there sometimes isn't much to do in the countryside, so I would jump on my dirtbike and see what sort of adventures I could find that way! I also enjoy seadooing (Jetskiing), snowmobiling, and anything that involves acceleration and adrenaline!

Of course I grew up playing hockey (ice) :)

Have been living in Germany for 4 months now and have traveled through a few different countries in Europe.

I've met some tremendous people along my journey here in Europe and hope that I can meet some more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have enjoyed staying in hostels during my previous travels, but was just informed about this service.

Couchsurfing seems like a neat way to meet new people and see their ways of living!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from Germany to Austria with strangers and joined there friends skiing along the Alps!

Survived a vehicle crash that involved rolling multiple times :$

Slept in the middle of a jungle in Belize in a hammock tied to two trees.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some computer science topics, some basic Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, English, riding a motorcycle / biking.

Will have in depths discussions about any Canadian stereotypes including Trailer Park Boys

Although all of my pictures tell quite a tale, my first two uploaded tell quite the story.

First one (in more "dressy" clothes) was when in Ottawa, Canada applying for my first COOP (internship). I am studying Computer Science / Software Engineering, so all the technical interviews were both new and overwhelming to me. My best friend in Ottawa who has shared the same crazy engineering stressful undergrad experience with me took the picture. We were trying to have any sort of competitive advantage over other people applying. The good news is that it actually worked and I ended up with my "dream" COOP abroad in Germany working in the field of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning. Pretty neat to have such a cool opportunity for my first job in the field!

The second picture (Me in a tree) was when on a VERY spontaneous and last minute trip to Zurich Switzerland with my girlfriend for her birthday. We found this funky looking tree in a very calm peaceful park by the river. Turns out it was a good place to sit and chill for a bit.
