About Me

My names Grayson, currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Always open to going on an adventure. Never was truly one for planning, just go with the flow of whatever comes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hoping to see new things everyday. There is so much to see and not enough time! I hope to meet a lot of new people and see things through their eyes. Building friendships with complete strangers is such an amazing thing and CS is helping me build more and more!

Interests

Traveling and working.
Sounds kind of lame and non fun. But working is honestly one of my greatest interest. There's something about seeing an end result for me. Knowing that I accomplished something. It pushes me to work harder every day. Some days my be not tho because let's be honest it can still blow. Working has provided me with so many chances and friendships that I'll always be interested in furthering my work experience. Plus that paycheck every two weeks is nice.
Traveling should be an obvious one so I won't get into it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music might be one of my favorite things. It speaks so much. There's a song for every moment or situation that's fitting. I'm getting onto that mood where I'm liking slower indie music. Slacks by St. South might be my very favorite song right now. I could sit around and vibe out to that all day. I'm a huge rap fan. Atmosphere, Geazy, Russ, Swollen Members, Madchild, Demrick, Noosa, CCR, Led Zeppelin, Die Antwoord, Tim Mcgraw, Bitch Perfect, Lana Del Ray, Damien Rice, Riff Raff, Mason Jennings, Birdy, Eminem, 50 Cent, Akon, Macklemore, Biz Markie, Big Sean, Weekend, Chevelle, Deer Tick, White Buffalo and I mean the list could go on forever.
I'm not huge into books. But I have read my fair share. I'm more into war books and history. There's something about knowing what people have been through that interest me. One of my favorite books is the Iceberg Hermit. It's about a fisherman in the 16th century that becomes stranded on an Iceberg. He befriends a polar bear and awaits for help. Amazing read. American Sniper and Lone Survivor blew my mind. Amazing stories. There's a few more I could list but I'm always willing to sit and have a good read.
Movies, they're awesome. I'm into action movies. There's a few others I'll sit and watch but I'm all about the good thriller. John Wick might have to be my favorite right about now. 300 will always be up there. Shooter, LOTR, Star Wars, Sinister, and The Last Samurai will always be a good watch. there's no genre of film I won't sit down and watch. I mean if 50 Shades of Gray might be pushing it. But other than that I'd be down for about anything. I'll trow TV shows in with movies. I'm catching up on Friends because I have nothing better to do. I finished all of Sense 8 and I have to say that was pretty entertaining. HIMYM was an all time favorite. But fuck the series finale. Seriously. House of Cards in very intense but I have a hard time staying caught up. Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, and Cheers are always a favorite for me to sit and enjoy. That 70s show is a classic. Right there with Sons of Anarchy. I loved sons till the end. I get that it had to end that way. But what a shitty CGI job. Really? A God damn green screen?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jeez. I really haven't done that many cool things. I'm still so young! I can think of two things really.
1. A friend and I jumped in a car and drove for 10 hours just to see a rapper named Riff Raff. If you're asking why the hell I would want to see him perform, I couldn't give you an answer. But it was worth every minute.
2. For senior ball some friends and I decided we wanted to do something big. So we went Skydiving! Took the girls and all with us. Was an amazing experience. So fun to tell people you did that for a date.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What can I share with you? Honestly never ending laughter and a smile. I'm not bragging or boasting but I'm about one of the most laid back people you could ever meet. I love talking and making connections. You can also just ask for stuff. I don't have a problem with cleaning the kitchen or bathroom during my stay. I worked in a kitchen for almost 3 years. So if it's a home cooked meal that you're after I'm Yoguy . A Yoguy? Yeah. You're my friend I'm yo guy. Yoguy. Hope I get the chance to stay with you!

What can I share with my guest?
Anything you can ask for. I'm here to please and entertain. I may have work but I'll always try my best to be there and show you what's going on around town. Even if there isn't anything to do. Best I can do sleeping wise is a blow up queen mattress. Which really isn't that bad. Plan on all the blankets you could ask for. I like a lot of layers. But if you don't that's fine! The main thing I'm here to offer is a smile. It's the easiest thing to give and it leaves the biggest impact. Food, bathrooms, and anything else is included as well. Come as Strangers leave as friends kinda shit. But a lot deeper.

Countries I’ve Visited
