ABOUT ME

I'm originally from the southwestern US and after living four years in chilly Reykjavík, I’m currently based in Barcelona. I occasionally still write for a magazine called Reykjavík Grapevine. I edited a book that was published in 2015: http://jadedibispress.com/product/mutilations-on-a-theme/. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed my way through India, Denmark, Argentina, and Chile, and I have hosted a few travelers in the US and Iceland since.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some of the most amazing, interesting, and incredible people as hosts while I was in India, many of whom helped me out of or avoid entirely some unfortunate situations. I've also made a good friend in Denmark who has hosted me twice. You can find some of the best people in the world on this website.

Seeing Gangetic river dolphins from a boat in the Indian Sundarbans, seeing my oars flaming underwater as I kayaked through a bioluminescent bay off the coast of Puerto Rico, and seeing the northern lights dance in Iceland, and watching a peregrine falcon catch a parakeet and carry it off in Torres Del Paine in Chile.
