CURRENT MISSION

Life is about experience. My mission is to broaden that experience as much as possible by seeing and doing as much as I can in the short time I have. The great thing about this is that as a biproduct I get to meet amazing people to share a laugh with.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going guy. I like to think that my interests are broad and varied enough that I can usually find common ground with anyone. I love to have a laugh and I particularly enjoy the company of people who know how to laugh at themselves.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't subscribe to any one particular philosophy. I generally approach most subjects from an agnostic viewpoint. I am someone who believes the discussion is more important than the answer. I love postulating and theorising on the nature of existence.

Example:
I believe everything at its core can be reduced to three states: non existence, existence, and a mixture of the two (uncertainty). Existence is itself a constant struggle against non-existence. It's purpose lies squarely in that struggle. In order to maintain its purpose it must be self affirming. This is why atoms interact the way they do and more importantly this is why humans interact the way they do. Life is the ultimate expression of existence and needs to be continually self-affirming in order to continue. Therefore, the ways in which people interact is the most beautiful creative expression the Universe has produced. So let's affirm each others existence by meeting up for a beer or two!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an amateur musician. More then happy to teach what I know on guitar, piano or the drums.

I can also speak a little Chinese so if you want to impress the guy who owns the noodle shop down the road, I can arrange it.

Other than that I have a broad range of interests and can usually find something to say on any given topic or at the very least I can nod my head knowingly while you talk.
